Hello! I 'm Fukuoka Tower sky attendant. This time we will introduce "Fukuoka City Science Museum". This museum is located in the center of the Ropponmatsu area, where redevelopment is progressing and popular shops are gathered. Adults who thought, "But only children can enjoy it, right?" It's different, I want adults to visit it, but rather adults can enjoy it more than children ?! It's a recommended spot. I will introduce it with Futa kun immediately!
About 15 minutes by bus from Fukuoka Tower! The aim is the center of Ropponmatsu "Ropponmatsu 421"
Fu aiming for this building!
The Fukuoka City Science Museum is located in the Ropponmatsu area. Redevelopment has progressed in recent years, and it is now a popular town, especially among the younger generation. There are many fashionable shops and queue shops such as cafes and bakeries. Many people from outside the prefecture also visit the bakery "AMAM DACOTAN", which has been introduced in national newspapers and is extremely popular, and the Chinese restaurant "Niihao! Ponyu", which is a favorite of Sadaharu Oh.
You can go up to the 3rd floor where the science museum is located at once ♪
The "Fukuoka City Science Museum" is located on the 3rd to 6th floors of the commercial facility "Ropponmatsu 421" in the center of Ropponmatsu. This escalator near the front entrance is convenient for the Fukuoka City Science Museum.
There is no doubt that adults will be absorbed in it! Experience science
Finally admission Fu!
The Fukuoka City Science Museum is divided into a free zone and a paid zone. You can enjoy the "Collaboration Square" and "Koichi Wakata Honorary Director's Corner", which create exhibitions with companies in Fukuoka City, for free. However, if you visit, why not enjoy the paid area where you can dig deeper into "science"? The "Basic Exhibition Room" is divided into "Space", "Environment", "Life", "Life" and "Future" zones. As a measure against infectious diseases, body temperature is being measured with a thermal camera at the entrance. Disinfectants are installed in various places in the exhibition room, so let's enjoy while disinfecting them diligently.
Even though it is an "exhibition room", there is no formal exhibition! All of them are corners where you can enjoy learning science while experiencing them ♪ When you enter the exhibition room, first get this "Mirai Card"!
If you collect the stamps under the explanation panel of each exhibition, you can challenge a special exhibition! I will introduce something later. First of all, let's enjoy the exhibition.
There are so many hands-on exhibits that we cannot introduce here, such as creating planets in space, confronting robots, and taking quizzes. In addition, many of the exhibits are made with various creators in Fukuoka City. Adults will be fascinated by the fact that they can enjoy videos and interactive exhibits as if they were games or attractions!
In addition, a "science show" with the theme of science will be held in the exhibition room! It is held twice a day on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays, and six times a day during the spring, summer, and winter holidays, so please join us!
Insert the "Mirai Card" and start!
And finally, to the central exhibition "Planet Planter"! The "Mirai Card" is prepared here. The stamps collected on the Mirai card are "Science Seeds". With this seed, we will create future stars and create new planets while clearing various cooperation missions. The power of "seed" will change depending on the number and type of stamps you have collected, so be sure to experience the exhibition and collect various stamps to take on the challenge!
By the way, this "Mirai Card" is also active in Science Navi on the 4th floor, which can be used free of charge. If you plug it into the terminal of the "associative search engine GET Assoc" that allows you to search for related materials from books related to science and various databases, you can see the materials related to the basic exhibition room on the 5th floor!
Excellent healing effect !? Kyushu's largest dome theater (planetarium)
After leaving the exhibition room, we will head to the "Dome Theater (Planetarium)". This dome at the Fukuoka City Science Museum is one of the largest in Kyushu! In addition, it is equipped with a state-of-the-art optical projector and a high-resolution digital projector that supports 8K, allowing you to see a beautiful starry sky and dynamic images all over the sky.
When you think of a planetarium, you might think of a program you saw at a school event when you were a kid. But that's not all. At the Fukuoka City Science Museum Dome Theater, you can enjoy several types of programs every day, including original production programs with full-length live commentary by commentators, as well as programs where you can enjoy powerful images with music in collaboration with artists. Depending on the time of year, there is also a healing program with aroma using an aroma generator installed on the wall, and there are plenty of programs for adults.
Find your favorite seat Fu!
The seats are arranged in the theater. The front can be reclined deeper, and the reclining angle setting is slightly changed so that you can enjoy it at any seat. You can see the center of the dome zenith from anywhere. The staff of the Science Museum who guided me to my favorite is next to the projector, near the third row from the front. It seems that you like the fact that you can immerse yourself in the world view of the program on the line where the projector is hard to see. There is also a couple seat in the back, perfect for a date. After the planetarium, why not look for the constellations that were introduced from the Observation Deck of Fukuoka Tower . It's going to be a romantic date ❤
Museum shop full of original goods
Finally, check out the museum shop! Goods that are perfect as souvenirs are lined up, and you will never get tired of looking at them.
Fu who wore a replica of the space suit
Space food is popular! We have a rich lineup of shrimp gratin, rice balls, vanilla ice cream and chocolate cake. Some products can be eaten with water, and some people buy them for emergency food. A replica of the space suit is also a hidden popular item.
For everyday use, try Fukuoka City Science Museum original goods! With a diverse lineup of stationery and jigsaw puzzles, it's a perfect souvenir!
Unique exhibitions will be held at any time! Have fun with Fukuoka Tower
"Fukuoka City Science Museum" can be reached from Fukuoka Tower by one bus. You can enjoy learning science while having fun, and you can fully enjoy the planetarium to heal your daily fatigue. The Fukuoka City Science Museum also holds special exhibitions on various themes. From December 19th to February 23rd, 2021, "What's AI? -What is AI?" Is being held. By knowing the world that coexists with robots like Astro Boy and the various technologies used in artificial satellites, we will accept and utilize cutting-edge technologies and create the future in the future.
